Katie Nare

Katie Nare is an interpretive artist from Troy, New York.

She received her BFA from Alfred University and went on to travel the world, build gardens, and raise three awesome kids.

  I bead to meditate, to match my emotions to color, to bring the past into now, and to weave the present towards the future. My hands and my heart were made to make. I create new bodies of work each season, using colors common in current trends and mixing old well travelled materials into new heirlooms.
